Annotation The article examines the situation of the functioning of the topic of artificial intelligence (AI) in the modern media. The author analyzes various versions of the presentation of this thematic trend, assessing both the pros and cons of the presence of the AI in the media space. At the same time, excessive trust is critically assessed, which is demonstrated not only by journalists and media themselves, but also by theorists in various theoretical fields.
