Exploring the Landscape of Linguistics: First Results and Interdisciplinary Application

Abstract

In my talk, I will present the first result of building a landscape of Linguistics based on the database of English abstracts gathered from scientific journals. As a result, we got kind of a map that reflects main subfields in the Linguistics and shows possible connections to other scientific disciplines.
