Abstract
It seems obvious that language learning should be based on interesting and familiar material. But how to determine which language material is relevant to the learning goal: which words and constructions should be taught first?
The talk will present an approach to designing language course content that uses quantitative methods of corpus analysis. This makes it possible to answer more precisely the question “what Russian language to teach” in each specific case.
